Lesewettbewerb Leo, leo…¿Qué lees?
Am 23. April stellten sich drei engagierte Schüler unserer Schule beim Halbfinale des spanischen Lesewettbewerbs “Leo, leo…¿Qué lees?” an der Liebigschule einer starken Konkurrenz. Insgesamt waren 12 Schulen aus der Region vertreten. Unsere Teilnehmer traten in den Niveaustufen A1, A2 und B2 an und beeindruckten mit souveränen und lebendigen Lesevorträgen.
Obwohl es trotz der tollen Leistungen am Ende nicht für den Einzug ins Finale reichte, können alle stolz auf ihre Darbietungen sein, die Konkurrenz war außergewöhnlich stark.
Ein weiteres Highlight folgte nur wenige Tage später: Am 26. April vertrat eine unserer Schüler*innen die Carl-von-Weinberg-Schule beim Halbfinale für Lateinamerika im Instituto Cervantes. Im anspruchsvollen B2-Niveau begeisterte sie mit einer starken Lesung. Besonders spannend war dabei die Möglichkeit, den kolumbianischen Vizekonsul persönlich kennenzulernen. Auch Vertreter aus Mexiko und Peru waren vor Ort und unterstrichen die internationale Bedeutung dieses besonderen Events. Die Erfahrungen und Begegnungen in diesem Wettbewerb haben die Begeisterung für die spanische Sprache noch einmal spürbar vertieft. Wir freuen uns schon jetzt auf eine erneute Teilnahme im kommenden Jahr!

On April 23, three dedicated students from our school faced strong competition at the semifinal of the Spanish reading competition „Leo, leo… ¿Qué lees?“ at the Liebigschule. A total of 12 schools from the region were represented. Our participants competed at the A1, A2, and B2 levels and impressed with confident and lively reading performances. Although it did not make it to the final despite the great performances, all can be proud of their presentations – the competition was exceptionally strong. Just a few days later, another highlight followed: On April 26, one of our students represented the Carl-von-Weinberg-Schule at the semifinal for Latin America at the Instituto Cervantes. At the demanding B2 level, they captivated the audience with a strong reading. Particularly exciting was the opportunity to meet the Colombian Vice Consul in person. Representatives from Mexico and Peru were also present, emphasizing the international significance of this special event. The experiences and encounters in this competition have deepened the enthusiasm for the Spanish language even more. We are already looking forward to participating again next year!
